A Mustang seat - the best upgrade for your motorcycle

A Mustang seat – the best upgrade for your motorcycle

Posted on March 24, 2022March 24, 2022 By Admin

There are many reasons why we ride motorcycles. For some it might be the image, for others the great fuel economy, but for most it’s the incredible freedom that can only be found on two wheels, leaning into a corner and nothing but the wind noise in your helmet. Many bikes tick the box on our list because they look great but aren’t comfortable to ride. Next to the riding position of the handlebars and foot pegs, your motorcycle seat has the biggest impact on how comfortable your bike is, how long you can ride and how straight you get off after a long ride. If you want to enjoy more time on your bike on the open road, consider upgrading your motorcycle seat.

Mustang motorcycle seats have been designed and manufactured in the USA since 1980. They currently only make seats for Harley Davidson and metric cruisers, not sport bikes. This focus on cruiser motorcycle seats has allowed them to become the best motorcycle seat brand on the market. You have a choice of styles including; the Fastback – a clean and sleek low-profile seat, the one-piece genuine Mustang touring seat for rider and passenger comfort, the Regal Duke pillow-top seat, solo and two-piece seats where you can add or remove the passenger seat , the Tripper, and Mustang’s wide touring seats.

Mustang knows that back support makes a big difference in comfort on longer motorcycle trips, so the Touring and Wide Touring versions are available with a removable backrest. The backrest can be adjusted up and down and front to back. The backrest is easy to remove and a flap covers the slot to ensure a clean look when not in use. Mustang hasn’t forgotten about the passenger either. Their rear seats are available in three different thicknesses and you can also get a matching backrest pad for the passenger.

In addition to seats, Mustang also makes matching motorcycle luggage and bibs for your motorcycle. Mustang seats, luggage, fenders and tank bibs can be purchased with or without chrome studs and conchos depending on the look you want. Some of their seat models can also be purchased with black pearl studs, which have a chrome ring around the shiny black “pearl”.

So if your motorcycle is spending too much time in the garage, take a look at which Mustang Seat models will fit your motorcycle and then enjoy the comfort for many miles and years to come.
